Labour force

The labour force consists of persons aged 15-64 years, who:

have a paid job for at least 12 hours a week, or
have accepted a paid job of at least 12 hours a week, or
want to work for at least 12 hours a week, are available to do so, and are actively seeking a job of at least 12 hours a week.

The employed labour force consists of people with a job of at least 12 hours a week. The unemployed labour force consists of people without a job, or with a job of less than 12 hours a week.
